Shawn Old, 26, of Nordic Way Court, was crossing the street in the 600 block of Monroe Street when at about 12:44 a.m. he was struck by a car driving east on Monroe, according to a police report. Police said he landed in front of 610 Monroe St., the former Table Forty 4, which recently came under new ownership and is now the Toledo Tap House Bar. The pedestrian was transported to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with injuries that are not considered to be life-threatening. The driver, Diamond Rayford-Hamilton, 23, of the 3200 block of Buckeye Street, had four passengers between the age of 15 and 20 in her vehicle at the time of the crash. No one in the car was injured, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation.
