Thaina Maria da Silva, 16 years old, from Maceió (AL), was murdered with knife blows by her partner, who then set her body on fire and took his own life. The victim was hit by knife blows in the back and chest. After the attack, the perpetrator, identified as Cleverton Silva Machado, 18 years old, from Utinga (BA), was found hanged, wearing only a towel, inside the residence. The Technical Police Department (DPT) carried out the forensic examination at the scene, and the bodies were sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), where they will undergo an autopsy before being released for funeral and burial. The Civil Police are investigating the case.
