He will be charged with attempted femicide. A security camera in the elevator recorded the moment when one of the women was beaten with at least 30 punches and a chokehold. According to reports gathered in the investigation, around 1 am on Thursday (5), Lucas broke into the apartment of a 66-year-old neighbor on the 3rd floor after complaints about the noise in her property. He assaulted the elderly woman, and her relatives managed to leave the place and run to the concierge to ask for help. Another neighbor, who heard the screams and cries for help, went up to the 3rd floor to check what was happening and found Lucas already at the elevator door. The images show the fighter, barefoot and shirtless, demanding that the neighbor kneel. He delivered a kick and, ignoring her plea of "Don't hit me!", began a brutal sequence of punches and elbow strikes. The elevator descended to the ground floor, but no one appeared to help. Lucas cornered the woman, pushed her head against the wall and, from behind, applied a chokehold, taking her to the ground. With his knees on the victim's chest, he continued to punch her in the face. Then, he grabbed the woman by the neck and slammed her head against the floor several times before leaving the elevator screaming towards the lobby. Bloodied and struggling to get up, the victim managed to leave the building and took refuge in a nearby gas station, where she was attended to by the Fire Department and taken to the Souza Aguiar Municipal Hospital. Arrest and Investigation Military police officers from the 6th BPM (Tijuca) and agents from the Municipal Guard were called the following morning. According to the police report, Lucas resisted arrest and tried to take a firearm from one of the officers. To subdue him, the officers shot the suspect in the legs. Even wounded, he still tried to escape down the stairs, being immobilized with a stun gun. Detective Álvaro Gomes, from the 18th DP (Praça da Bandeira), stated that the assaults began without apparent reason.
