The victim was crossing the road when she was hit by a motorcycle traveling in the adjacent lane. The impact was violent and caused the traumatic amputation of one of the woman's legs, in addition to head injuries. She fell into a ditch on the side of the road and was rescued in critical condition. Due to the severity of her condition, the six-month-old baby did not survive, and Daiane remained hospitalized in the ICU, where she ultimately succumbed to complications from her injuries. The motorcycle driver lost control after the accident and collided with a truck. He suffered fractures and also received medical attention. Investigations into the circumstances of the accident are ongoing under the responsibility of the Civil Police.
