According to information circulating about the case, the crime was allegedly committed by the father of the student whom Francisco assaulted hours earlier, at the exit of a school in Lago da Pedra. According to preliminary reports, Francisco went to the school to confront the teenager after the young man allegedly insulted his son. During the argument, he assaulted and threatened the student. Hours later, Francisco was shot four times. He did not survive his injuries and died at the scene. The Civil Police are investigating the case and carrying out inquiries to confirm the authorship of the crime and locate the person responsible for the shooting. So far, no one has been arrested.
