The victims were identified as Alice Kethely Menezes da Silva, 15, and Bruna Beatryz dos Santos de Sousa, 22. Both had gunshot wounds to the head. The Military Police were at the scene, isolated the area, and awaited the arrival of the teams responsible for the forensic examination and removal of the bodies. The authorship and motivation of the double homicide have not yet been clarified. Information about a possible involvement of the victims with a criminal faction and drug trafficking is circulating in the case, but this relationship has not been officially confirmed by the authorities.
