He was killed by multiple gunshot wounds on May 6 in Lima, Peru. According to reports, Tirado was at an automotive workshop when two assailants arrived on a motorcycle and carried out the attack. One of the perpetrators reportedly fired at least ten shots at close range, striking Tirado in the head and body. The attack was allegedly recorded on a mobile phone by one of the assailants during the shooting. Tirado died at the scene. Los Mexicanos has been primarily associated with criminal activities, including extortion and contract killings.
