@sweeter_nk (also known as Mina) is a prominent TikTok creator and former fansite operator for the K-pop group ENHYPEN, specifically dedicated to the member Ni-ki. She had a secondary X account with the last post on August 3rd titled Being cute is not enough https://x.com/minann320. Some fans misinterpreted it as evidence of a suicide fakeout. In mid-2026, she became the center of massive online controversy and widespread fan backlash following an incident at a recent ENHYPEN concert. https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1785904462XbnKNXH1QYr-iw.webp Before the concert, Mina recorded several streams in a US hotel where she is happy applying makeup, and dreams about Ni-ki paying attention to her and her becoming his girlfriend. She also dreams of moving to Korea with him and worried about getting used to Korean food. The Sunflower Incident: During a US concert performance, she threw a bouquet of sunflowers onto the stage. The flowers were picked up by member Sunoo. According to eyewitness accounts, she visibly threw a tantrum and demanded that the flowers be passed to Ni-ki instead. When this did not happen, she reportedly became highly emotional and disruptive. Fans heavily criticized her behavior, connecting it to live stream comments made by Ni-ki regarding the importance of concert etiquette and respecting boundaries. There is no public video of Mina's behavior during the Sonflower incident. According to accounts circulating among fans, Mina then allegedly became upset and cried while repeatedly trying to get Sunoo to pass the bouquet to NI-KI. Sunoo was ultimately unable to do so and returned her the flowers. After the incident, Mina records the stream from the parking lot in the US, talking about events of the concert and looking confused and upset tiktok_@sweeter_nk_2026-07-26 05-48-41_960p_キャンプなう. This is also the first stream where she adds black ribbons to her face, symbolizing tears and mourning. https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1785904462kc1UkMU2SOtCpA.webp The age gap: During the height of the controversy, many fans pointed out the significant age gap between Mina and the idol she supported, criticizing her behavior as inappropriate given her age of 30 years old relative to the members of ENHYPEN. The actual age of Mina is unknown; it is sometimes hard to determine in Japanese females, especially with makeup. There are opinions that those claims were exaggerated and were part of the shaming campaign against her, implying that she is old. Visually, she does appear to be in her mid-to-late twenties. Backlash and Apology: Following the event, the ENHYPEN fandom (ENGENE) condemned her actions, accusing her of overstepping personal boundaries, entitlement, and mistreating other members of the group. In response to the wave of criticism, she temporarily deactivated her account before publishing a public apology. In her statement, she admitted to losing a proper sense of distance between herself and the idols due to attending an excessive number of fansign events. She apologized directly to Sunoo and his fans, claiming that she prepared flowers for both performers, including Roses for Sunoo and the Sonflower for Ni-ki. However, many fans remained unconvinced by her explanation. Pointing out that nobody had seen the alleged roses. The backlash intensified as unverified allegations regarding her personal background and past fansign behavior resurfaced online. After the final post with her version of the events and apology for the fandom, Mina soft-closed her X account with the word Close. That has promoted more criticism, encouraging Mina to delete her X account completely. https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1785904462HtMLFonElgcBzQ.webp The comments section before the suicide on her X account are rather harsh. https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1785904462Z20XDock9tAgew.webp Followed by expressions of condolences once the news and the video of her suicide spread https://i.watchpeopledie.tv/images/1785904462AFgAxy2rhsUoUA.webp Second camera: In the last stream, Mina referred to setting up a second phone or camera that transmitted the video; thus, there is a possibility that a second angle of the stream exists that has not been made public. The suicide stream: This is a full recording of her last stream tiktok_@sweeter_nk_2026-08-04 18-45-57_720p.mp4 where she appears heavily intoxicated, apologizes to the fans in slurred speech, excuses herself for being a fan and losing sense of distance. At around 12 minute mark she compains that she did not eat anything since yesterday morning, then while holding the bottle she said "It is no point to appologize, whatever I say they write more hatefull comments, I cosulted with the atterney and he said the same thing that the more I say the more hate I will get". Some people do send her presents in stream to cheer her up, but she says she can't read them. At around 20 minute mark, she starts taking several white pills, flushing them with water, then leaves the camera, with the sounds of more pills being taken. It is likely she was prescribed anxiety medication due to her situation. When she returns to the camera about a minute later, her mouth is full of pills. It appears that the way she arranged her suicide was to overdose on sedatives and then put her neck into the rope to strangle herself once she can't stand anymore. Then, after saying she doesn't want to live anymore, she put her neck into a noose attached to the AC system. She briefly stops, saying that she wanted to live a few more moments after proceeding to return to the noose and place her neck into it. The pills appear to take effect as she struggles to keep her balance, eventually passing out and getting fully suspended by the neck. Her agony is very brief; with minimal struggle, she gets still in under a minute, showing little struggle and slight and short twitching of the muscles on the right leg. The video of the stream raised questions among the fans if it was staged, noting a lack of significant struggle on the rope, a lack of loss of bladder during the suicide and an abrupt cut of the stream without apparent reason. The stream lasts for 33 min 6 seconds. The reason for the end of the stream is unknown. The facial expressions and muscle twitching during early moments of hanging at around the 30:10-30:20 mark and then slow and deep relaxation of her muscles over the course of several minutes between 31:00-33:06, as well as slight spotting in her crotch area noticeable in high-resolution video, indicate that the suicide was real. The lack of self-urination related to an empty bladder. The lack of significantly pronounced agonal breathing is interesting, but with toxic levels of alcohol it is possible. The claims that the stream recorded her body being removed by emergency responders or family members are not supported by the video. While without the video of Mina's reaction during the concert it is hard to tell if the fans' criticism was justified, this case underscores the intensity of fandom and the potential mental struggles of Mina building her whole identity on the fantasies of getting close to her idol

I appreciate the context that was missing in the other user's video. 30 years old? I thought she looked 20 at most. 30 years old and crying because your boy band idol isn't your boyfriend. As pretty was she was, she was insanely immature. Throwing a tantrum because another member of the band picked her flowers up... Like come on, sounds like something a premature 14 year girl would do.
